Voting System Examinations
The Department of State is responsible for the examination and certification of electronic voting systems for compliance with the Pennsylvania Election Code. Once a voting system examination has taken place, the Secretary of the Commonwealth issues a report that states the findings and results of the examination.
The information on this website is intended to provide the public, county election officials, county commissioners, and vendors with the current schedule of examinations, status of systems that have been examined, reports that have been issued by the Secretary, and other useful information.
